That needs more work, but allows better experience. Risk of Rain is playable this way, but it inconsistently shows sometimes keyboard and mouse prompts and sometimes controller prompts. The best easy thing for controlling the game with touchpads and motion sensors is to set a touchpad or the gyroscope to output mouse movement, while keeping most inputs default (Xinput). That means that the game in its current state may register Xinput inputs and mouse inputs at the same time, and it doesn't handle it optimally. In my mind, it makes even more sense to allow players to quit and return in their runs since you can essentially play one run forever in RoR2. You die, you return to the beginning as normal. You can't keep in a run "forever" as you can in RoR2. You can quit anytime, even in the middle of a boss fight, and return to it in the exactly same place you left it.
